"For too long, 'gaming' audio has been synonymous with muddy bass and sacrificed clarity. At AEHifi, we believe your competitive edge shouldn't come at the cost of musical fidelity. Today, we’re sharing a deep dive from hamuchan777, who explores how the Angelears x Tangzu AE-101 breaks the mold. With its glass diaphragm driver and surgical imaging, see why this IEM is being called a 'practical and complete' solution for both the server and the studio."
TANGZU x Angelears Xue Tao AE-101 Review Author: hamuchan777
A gaming-focused IEM with a 10mm glass diaphragm dynamic driver, detachable boom mic, 0.78mm 2-pin connection, and 3.5mm / USB Type-C options.
Sound-wise, the AE-101 leans neutral to mild V, with tight bass, clean upper extension, and very easy-to-read imaging. Rather than relying on exaggerated tuning, it focuses on outline, control, and clarity, which makes footsteps, skill sounds, and positional cues easier to follow in games.
At the same time, it stays enjoyable for music. The bass is tight but not thin, the mids stay clear and centered, and the treble brings good openness without pushing too hard. It feels well organized, easy to listen to, and nicely balanced for both gaming and everyday use.
Included accessories are also a nice touch, especially the Tang Sancai balanced eartips and detachable boom mic, which make the whole package feel practical and complete.
